Meet Your Doula
DiAndra Espinoza
When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me crafting, hiking, kickboxing, getting lost in a good book, or adding to my tattoo collection. I don’t have my own kids or pets, but I’ve spent enough time with babies to know that every parent deserves solid support, reassurance, and a break when they need it.
Hi, I’m DiAndra, and I’m here to support you in the raw, beautiful, and messy reality of new parenthood.
I’m a postpartum doula who believes that every family deserves support—without judgment, fluff, or pressure to do things a certain way. While some doulas lean heavily into the holistic and "love & light" approach, I’m all about practical, down-to-earth care tailored to your needs. Whether you’re an LGBTQ+ family, a single parent, an adoptive parent, or figuring out your own version of parenting, I’m here to help you feel confident and capable with your newborn.
My love for babies started early—I grew up surrounded by nieces and nephews, which gave me hands-on experience long before I made it my career. I’ve worked with infants and children for years, and now, as a trained postpartum doula (working toward certification), I bring that same care and passion to new parents navigating the fourth trimester.
If you're looking for a doula who meets you where you are—whether that’s thriving, overwhelmed, or somewhere in between—I’d love to chat!
About Me
Humble Beginnings
I was born and raised in central California. Born into a family of ten I would become an aunt for the first time at the age of four. I was the youngest daughter and spent my days with my family. We didn’t have very much money so childcare support was a family event.
Some good from 2020
We can all agree that 2020 was a weird year. Lots of chaos came out of that time but also some good! I became a full-time nanny that same year. After working in corporate and then in a daredevil sport, I finally found the beginning of the rest of my life - career wise. Of course if I would have just paid attention I would have realized it much sooner!
Packed bags & New Memories
At a young age I knew that my education was important. Reading has always been one of my favorite activities so it’s no wonder that I went off to a 4-year college. I graduated from CSUMB with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. (Most people don’t major in their passion, right?!)
Newborn/Toddler Nanny…
My first nanny kid was a 6 month old girl named Luna. Through my time with her I quickly learned that my area of expertise in the nanny world would be with babies. My career took me all over the country with babies ranging from newborn to toddlers. This is where I really gained much of my knowledge on all things baby.
My childcare experience
All throughout high school and college I babysat for family and then clients. I’m sure my introduction to my first baby when I was just a toddler helped foster my caregiver instincts. It also set me up for a lifelong passion of caring for babies.
…to Postpartum Doula pipeline
This was a natural path for me of course. Through my work as a nanny I learned about doulas and of course the more I learned, the more interest I had. While they are two different things, the information that I already had about babies provided me the confidence to learn to care for parents & the family unit as well.
